A primary objective of the information exchangeis the elimination of the need to "re-invent the wheel" to solve a previouslysolved computational problem in electrical engineering, physics, or related fields ofstudy. The ACES Journal welcomes original, previously unpublished papers,relating to applied computational electromagnetics. All papers are refereed. A unique feature of ACES Journal is thepublication of unsuccessful efforts in applied computationalelectromagnetics. Publication of such material provides a means todiscuss problem areas in electromagnetic modeling. Manuscriptsrepresenting an unsuccessful application or negative result incomputational electromagnetics is considered for publication only if areasonable expectation of success (and a reasonable effort) arereflected. The technical activities promoted by this publication include codevalidation, performance analysis, and input/output standardization; code or techniqueoptimization and error minimization; innovations in solution technique or in datainput/output; identification of new applications for electromagnetics modeling codes andtechniques; integration of computational electromagnetics techniques with new computerarchitectures; and correlation of computational parameters with physical mechanisms. The ACES Journal is abstracted in INSPEC, in Engineering Index, DTIC, Science Citation Index Expanded, theResearch Alert, and to Current Contents/Engineering, Computing & Technology.Published tweleve times annually. ACES Journalis available on line to all ACES Society members and hard copies aredelivered to institutional members of ACES Society. Authors who have apaper in any journal issue also receives a hard copy of that issue. Editor-in-Chief
